Current exercise programs include the following:

The Eat Smart, Move More, Weigh Less program provided virtually by NC State University and the NC Division of Public Health. This is a 15 program. For more information, please contact Racheal at 910-612-5379.

Senior Strength Training with Gayla– a twice a week virtual exercise class that uses light hand weights and exercise bands. This class meets for one hour on Monday and Wednesday mornings at 10am. Registration is required to receive a Zoom link; please contact Racheal at 910-612-5379.

Lose Weight and Reduce Your Risk– The YMCA’s Diabetes Prevention Program is a CDC recognized program based upon proven strategies to help reduce your risk of developing type 2 diabetes. Goals include weight loss, increased physical activity, improved nutrition. This program begins August 1st. Registration is required.
