Dino-Mighty Day!

Cape Fear Museum is inviting the community to Dino-Mighty Day! Journey back in time to explore dinosaurs, fossils and more! This event is fun for kids of all ages and adult participation is required. This FREE EVENT is made possible by a generous grant from International Paper.

Some of the educational stations and activities at this FREE EVENT will include:

Dig for fossils to take home
Explore the Museum on a dinosaur scavenger hunt
Create a dino playscape
Participate in a T-Rex basketball challenge
Build a Pterosaur and fly it into a nest
Have fun creating dinosaur crafts & masks
Make dino trail mix to eat
Take pictures at the selfie station
And more!

While visiting, experience the traveling exhibition Dinosaurs Take Flight. It combines original artwork with fossils, replica skeletons, hands-on activities, and interactive media to tell the amazing story of the evolution of flight.
