Must reside in New Hanover County. We are aware of those who try each year to receive more than one fan. This program only covers one fan per household.

Diabetes Support Group! Many people with diabetes or pre-diabetes want to prevent complications but have no idea how to start or go about it. Join us the first Friday of every month at 10am. For more information please call 798-6412.

Led by a Certified Counselor, the Wise Women group is open to all ladies 55 and older to share their stories, support one another, and to help with any personal or emotional burdens. The group meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 10:30am. For more information please call 798-6409.
Seniors, please do not leave your pets in the car while visiting the Center. Even "just a minute" can be too long. Heat builds up in a vehicle rather quickly, even with shade and/or having the windows down or cracked open. Just a reminder to keep our furry friends safe in the North Carolina heat. Thanks!
