Medicare 101 - Learn all you can about Medicare if you will soon be turning 65. We will have 2 sessions on Thursday, June 27th. Local karaoke companies donate their time to bring us music to sing. I need to know days and times that are best to get you here to play games or sing songs. Led by a Certified Counselor, the Wise Women group is open to all ladies 55 and older to share their stories, support one another, and to help with any personal or emotional burdens. The group meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 10:30am. For more information please call 798-6409.
Seniors, please do not leave your pets in the car while visiting the Center. Even "just a minute" can be too long. Heat builds up in a vehicle rather quickly, even with shade and/or having the windows down or cracked open. Just a reminder to keep our furry friends safe in the North Carolina heat. Thanks!
