Mission Statement
To act as the focal point for aging services in New Hanover County by providing services which promote wellness, encourage independence, and enhance quality of life for all older persons.

Diabetes Support Group! Many people with diabetes or pre-diabetes want to prevent complications but have no idea how to start or go about it. Join us on February 3rd at 10am and then the first Friday of every month at 10am. For more information please call 798-6409.
There is Home Delivered Meals, Congregate Dining, and Weekend Meals on Wheels. 3 wonderful programs. Call to see which would fit you or your loved one best - 798-6412.
Led by a Certified Counselor, the Wise Women group is open to all ladies 55 and older to share their stories, give and get advice from one another, and to help with any personal or emotional burdens. The group meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 10:30am. For more information please call 798-6409.

Seniors, please do not leave your pets in the car while visiting the Center. Even "just a minute" can be too long. Heat builds up in a vehicle rather quickly, even with shade and/or having the windows down or cracked open. Just a reminder to keep our furry friends safe in the North Carolina heat. Thanks!

There is a brand-new rowing machine in our fitness lounge, as well as a new treadmill! We have treadmills, recumbent bikes, and stair-climbers. All free for seniors 55 and older to use!
