Did you know that a Human Service Economic Caseworker is on site at the Center to serve you? Applications for Adult Medicaid and Food & Nutrition Services are offered here. No appointment necessary, individuals are signed up in the order they arrive. Mondays 1:30pm to 5pm, Wednesdays 8am - 5pm.

Medicaid Case Management and Food and Nutrition (FNS) program assistance and enrollment now available for seniors. Mondays, 1:30pm to 5pm and Wednesdays, 8am to 5pm. Clients will be signed up to see a caseworker in the order that they arrive. Please check in at the Front Desk in our Lobby.
For Medicare questions, please call the North Carolina S.H.I.I.P. office. There, you can speak to a counselor over the phone Monday thru Friday between the hours of 8am and 5pm. The toll free number is 1-855-408-1212.

Diabetes Support Group!
Many people with diabetes or pre-diabetes want to prevent complications but have no idea how to start or go about it. Join us the first Friday of every month at 10am. For more information please call 798-6412.
To act as the focal point for aging services in New Hanover County by providing services which promote wellness, encourage independence, and enhance quality of life for all older persons.
Led by a Certified Counselor, the Wise Women group is open to ladies 55+ to share their stories, support one another, and help with personal or emotional burdens. The group meets on the 3rd Tuesday at 10:30am. Fee of $5 per meeting. Call 910-619-4444 with questions.
